Astrophotography Timelapse

the perseid meteor shower was a bust in my opinion. I did however shoot a very short timelapse of some clouds rolling across the stars while they rotate through the sky. There is one or two meteors in this and that was pretty much the extent of 8 hours of watching. At least it was a pretty night

Astrophotography

I keep hearing about the Perseid Meteor shower this weekend and decided to try some astrophotography out. Shot a couple of quick shots to figure out the best exposure settings and waited... and waited... and nothing. Hopefully it will be more active this evening. I did manage to get a couple of neat shots. As this was a test shoot I didn't care to go very far to get away from any light pollution. I just set up a tripod on my dock and fired away.
